SOAR Management Committee Report: August 2007 - May 2007

• The on-line launch occurred 16 January 2006. While the site is free for anyone to search, members may request a password to make purchases at the member rate by sending an e-mail to soarlogin@ahsgrsoar.org.
• Since the January 2006 launch, the site has been visited 40926 times and 156705 images have been viewed by researchers.

• The committee has implemented plans to add additional databases to the on-line system. Collections being added are the surname chart collection with available supporting data from archive records, the AHSGR Workpapers, the first 20 years of the AHSGR Journal, Clues, Windsor CO Lakeview cemetery records, Valley View cemetery records from Torrington WY, a collection of Bessarabia birth-death-marriage records from Ralph Ruff, the Stumpp reference book (The Emigration from Germany to Russia in the Years 1763 to 1862), the Bohlender Book (a five family history volume with information documenting their immigration to the US – of interest to others because of the information about their travel.), additional obituary collections available in electronic form, a collection of Naturalization Records from the Denver Metro Chapter (DMC), a collection of Shiplist Records from the DMC chapter, and the Greeley CO Linn Grove Cemetery Records (from the North Colorado Chapter library)
• These new database are to be available for on-line research during the 2007 convention and will also be available for research from your home.

• The obituary on-line database contained 154, 930 images as of 23 March 2007.
