Why support AHSGR?

Members of AHSGR pay membership dues.  In exchange for that, they receive many benefits.  Because of AHSGR and its programs, many of our members are able to trace their ancestry not only beyond their grandparents into Russia, but back into Germany to the 1700s.  Why, you might ask, should I donate money to AHSGR above and beyond the membership dues I have already paid? 

The simple fact is that AHSGR does not survive on dues alone.  Though membership dues are a major source of funds for AHSGR operations, donations enable our organization to provide substantially more services than we could if we relied only on dues payments.  In fact, the generosity of our donors has enabled us to keep membership dues at the same level for many years. 

How can you help?  It is your continued membership and financial support above and beyond the annual dues and life membership that makes all of the accomplishments that have taken place possible.  Please review the giving options outlined on these pages and choose the one that best meets your needs.
