are an important resource for any organization.
They bring curiosity, vitality and inspiration wherever they go!
That is why AHSGR has established and is promoting its Junior Membership Program. Our young people, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren are one of the most important reasons the members of AHSGR have continued their efforts to preserve the precious culture of the Germans from Russia. The goal of the Junior Membership Program is to create an interest on the part of young people in their heritage while they are still young. It is our hope and expectation that with continued membership over their growing up and maturing years, there will be created within them the same enthusiasm for their heritage we have felt as adult members of AHSGR.
The Junior Membership Program is made up of two division: Youth Members for ages 14 and under, and Student Members ages 15-24. As part of their membership, Youth Members will receive an initial membership packet, four quarterly issues of Kinderzeitung Newsletter and an official membership card. Youth Membership material are all targeted to the specific age group. Student Members will receive an initial membership packet, the regular four quarterly issues of the AHSGR Newsletter, and the four quarterly issues of the AHSGR Journal, and an official membership card. Both receive an initial $5.00 coupon good toward purchases from the Society's Bookstore.
