a
useful
resource
for
learning
more
about
the
German
villages
in
Russia.
The
Village
File
is
a
collection
of
information
on
individual
or
specific
villages
and
areas
in
which
Germans
settled,
containing
files
organized
by
village
and/or
area.
These
files
contain
various
pieces
of
information
that
have
been
gathered
by
AHSGR
staff,
members,
village
coordinators,
and
other
individuals
for
a
number
of
years.
The
Village
File
Inventory
is
a
list
of
all
items
contained
in
each
file.
Unless
otherwise
indicated,
items
in
each
file
may
be
copied
for
patrons.
To
request
copies
of
items
from
this
file,
please
indicate
specifically
the
item(s)
in
which
you
are
interested
by
noting
the
item(s)
as
listed
in
the
Inventory
in
your
request.
Many
village
files
indicate
village
newsletters
that
have
been
published
by
Village
Coordinators.
These
newsletters
are
continuously
cataloged
into
AHSGR's
library
collection.
