This
List
The AHSGR Family History List is a list of family histories found in the AHSGR Library and Archives. An * by the Family History indicates that the library has two copies of the book and that the History is available for interlibrary loan.
This reference
publication
is divided into three parts. Part I is arranged alphabetically by author. Part II is arranged by Library of Congress call number, followed by author and title, which is how the family histories appear on the shelf. Part III is a list of family newsletters and periodicals. Please note that many of the family newsletter collections are limited to a few years, and, consequently, AHSGR may not have the current issue.

The AHSGR Library may be used by members and non-members during regular business hours. AHSGR members and non-members may request material through the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) department of their local libraries. To borrow from the AHSGR library, give the author(s), title(s), and, if known, call number(s) of the needed materials to the local Interlibrary Loan librarian. The requests will then be sent to the AHSGR Library. Both mail and OCLC requests are welcome at AHSGR. If the item(s) requested is available for loan, the material will be sent to the local library, where it can be checked out. Please note that only three (3) items at a time may be borrowed through interlibrary loan, and only those items which the AHSGR library currently has at least two (2) copies will be available for interlibrary loan.
Loan Charges
The AHSGR Library charges a $5.00 per book a fee for requested Interlibrary Loan materials. This charge will help defray costs of processing books for Interlibrary Loan, including the initial shipping charge incurred.
Loan Periods
Books, Maps, Microfilm, Videos, and Periodicals may be checked out for a period of four (4) weeks. Loan periods may be extended, if AHSGR receives the request before the original due date, and if the material is not on a waiting list.
Reference and Reserve Materials
Reference and reserve materials do not circulate; however, they may be used in the library at AHSGR.
