BITTER, Heinrich, son of Heinrich, from Lauwe. This branch of the Bitter family was known as the "Loch" Bitters because the house of their ancestors stood in a depression in the ground.

SCHEIN, Julius, son of Johann Schein and mother ?, nee NEUMAN, from Zhitomir oblast, Volhynia.

BRAUN, Johannes, son of Johannes, wife (Katharina, Elisa-beta, or Maria) and son Johannes. Left daughter Paulina, married to Samuel ENGEL, in Russia. Probably from Frank.

WERNER, Otto, from Schöntal, Kronau District, Ukraine. May have wound up in American POW camp after WWII and may be in America. Tried to locate his family 1968-1970, but the family was too frightened to respond.

GETZ from Yagodnaya Polyana, siblings of Karolina, children of Heinrich. May have gone to Canada.

BOPP, Sofia, married to Heinrich GROH, and her sister Emilie Bopp, married to Kasper STEIGERWALD. Both girls are daughters of Friedrich from Krasnoyar. AHSGR has obituary for an Ethel Steigerwald, wife of Casper, died in Chicago. Are Ethel and Emilie one and the same?

FELDE, two daughters of Kaspar and his wife, Margareta SIMON. The girls, born in Krasnoyar, eloped to Amer-ica with boyfriends.

RUSCH, Heinrich, son of Philip, from Enders. Children Emilie or Emma, Heinrich and David. Had a hotel.

SCHLÄGEL / SCHLAEGEL, Johann Peter (Hampeter), born ca. 1872-74 in Strassendorf, Volga Region. Lived in Colorado.

KRAUS, Fred, from STAHL, may have lived in Chicago.

HEIN, Konrad and Jacob, born before 1889, left younger brothers Karl and Gottfried in Russia. Their father was a renowned cabinet maker.

RAPP, from the Crimea. Lived in Canada, had two sons and one daughter. Son Egon born in Russia.

REINHARDT, Daniel, wife Elisabeth and his nephews Daniel and Edward, sons of Friedrich. From Karlsruhe, Crimea, to Canada. Reinhardt family had previously lived in Bessarabia and the Caucasus before going to the Crimea.

HEINZ, Heinrich, son of Johann Philip and Katherine Elisabeth, nee LEINWEBER, from Neu-Straub.

KERBS, Heinrich, son of Heinrich and Katherine Elisabeth BRUMER. Married in America and had sons Arthur and Robert. From Galka. AHSGR has photo.

SCHMIDT, Theodor lived in Seattle prior to his death. His children, sought by his sister Gertrud, are: Lucy (born 1928) in Kiev) Selm (born Kiev 1940), and Axel (born in Germany).

RAU, Peter, from Neu-Norka, may have gone to Canada.

FRICK, three sons and four daughters of George from Frank: Adam, George, Jacob, Anna Marie (married Heinrich BATT), Elisabeth (married TRUPP), Maria Barbara (married GETTMAN), Katharina Margaretha (married FAHRENBRUCH).

WAGNER, Elisabeth, married to a Wagner. Daughter of Johannes. One sister and one brother also went to America.

GÖTTMAN / GETTMAN / GOETTMAN, Johannes, from Brunnental. Came to America in 1909 with his brother George and George's wife and daughter Maria. George's family returned to Russia. Where are Johannes and family?

BRENNER, Heinrich, son of Johannes, wife Maria, nee KARP, and children Maria (1906), Paulina (1909), Margarete (1911), Heinrich (? USA) and Wilhelm (? USA). From Seelmann.

RITTER. Parents came to America prior to the Revolution with youngest son, leaving four children in Russia with their grandparents. AHSGR has photos of the mother and four sons: Johann Roland, Johann Alexander, Johannes, Johann Richard, and Alexander. From Krasnoyar. Lived in Chicago.

MEINZER, two sons of Karl went from Grimm to USA, and one daughter went to Argentina. Left brother Christian Jakob in Russia.

JORDAN, George, son of George, born 1896 in Hussenbach, left for America with younger brother Konrad, who was lost on the way. Left in Russia siblings Andrei/Heinrich, Philip, twins Amalia and Elisabeth, Friedrich, and Maria.

KLASSEN, Abram, born in Sparrau 1892-94, left for America in 1921. His wife Katherine and daughter Frieda came in 1922. Son Abram or Sascha born 1923, Heinrich (Waldemar) born 1925. AHSGR has photo.
