Josef LEHLI, emigrated from Baden with parents, Johannes LEHLI and Marianna JUND. Johannes died on ship enroute to Canada. AHSGR has photo taken in 1926.

ADartel@ SCHAMBERGER, daughter of Peter and Eleonore Schamberger, from Hildmann. Her husband's nickname or surname was STROFEL. One child, Peter, was born 1907.

Joseph GLASSNER, son of Joseph Petrovich and Josephina, nee WILLGANG (?). From Reichenfeld (Kostheim), Zaporozhye, South Russia. He came to the U.S. after WW II according to his siblings, Joseph and Rosa, who are still alive.

Wilhelm LIND came to America from Dönhof / Doenhof with his son Jacob and brother Johannes. He had to leave his wife Elisabeth and children in Russia, and they were never able to join him. He is being sought by his daughter Amalia. AHSGR has photo of the Wilhelm, his son Jacob, and his brother Johannes which says AGebr. Lind@ (Lind brothers) and was taken in 1932.

Christian Adam SCHNEIDER, son of Adam, born in Stahl am Tarlyk in 1871.

Jacob SCHMALL, born in Stahl am Tarlyk in 1862.

PEIL siblings: Friedrich, Alexander, Natalia, Amalia, Paulina, from Messer. May have gone to Canada, possibly Winnipeg.

August and Samuel FRITZLER, sons of Friedrich. Went to Canada.

FRIBUS sisters from Rosenheim, Volga, daughters of Christian. One may have married an EHLERT.

Two NILMEIER brothers, sons of George. One may have been Phillip. Left brother Heinrich in Stahl am Tarlyk.

Daughters of William SCHWARTZKOPF and Maria Katherine LIND: Elizabeth (born 1882), Anna Elizabeth (1886), Eva Elizabeth (1890). Married names unknown.

Emma RIFFEL, born 1923 in Pallasovka, Volga, was an interpreter for the German Army near Stalingrad during WWII. Did she successfully retreat back to Germany with the army and then come to America?

Madeus (Mathew?) HEHLMEHL from Peremenovka, Kazakstan, went to Germany in 1941. In 1948-49 he went to America. He had a daughter, Cecilia, born 1951-52. Being sought by son now in Germany.

Four SCHLESSLER / SCHOESSLER brothers, sons of Heinrich, all emigrated from Walter at various times: Wilhelm, George, Jacob, and Adam.

HIRSCH sisters, daughters of Gregory, emigrated from Mariental, Odessa. Their sister Genoveva was unable to emigrate due to illness. She later married Andrei (Heinrich) BECK, and they founded the village Blumenfeld in Kazakstan.

Wanda HERBST, married name unknown, daughter of Robert and Amalia Herbst. From Michailovka, Ukraine.

Emilia and Wanda GRAUMANN, daughters of Julius. At one time Wanda lived in Fresno, CA (3534 East Mono). Wanda had no children, but her sister Emilia did. AHSGR has photo.

David FREIMANN, wife Sophia, and five children. The oldest child was killed by a street car. David was the son of Phillip and Anna. They were from Katharinenstadt and lived in Chicago.

` Eduard and Ida SCHMIDT, from Marianovka, Volhynia. Their daughter Esther was a dentist in Portland, OR. AHSGR has a photo.

Friedrich Georg HAFFNER, from Oberdorf, went to South America.

Johannes NAGEL, born 1894, from Norka.

Wilhelm HUWA, his wife Pauline, and daughter Marta, who married Heinrich MOHR. They lived in British Columbia. AHSGR has photos.

Theodor TRAUTMANN, who last lived in Columbus, Ohio.

Eugene BAIER born in Kamenka in 1918. In Red Army 1940, POW in Germany, left Germany for USA in 1958. He lived at 1852 W. Morse Ave. in Chicago. May have moved to southern California.

Anna SCHWAB, daughter of Jacob, born in Hussenbach in 1886. Married and divorced a Propp. Son Jacob Propp born in 1904. Anna came to uncle Jacob FUCHS and remarried in America.

Aleägret [Margret?], daughter of Georg KEIB came to America with husband SCHNEIDER and children: Alexander, Mari, Mili, and Victor. She was born in Hussenbach about 1877.

Jacob PROPP and wife, nee SCHWAB, went from Hussenbach to Blumental, Siberia. Left there in 1912 for America. Left two daughters in Siberia. AHSGR has photo. Last letter received in Russia was from Portland, OR.

Johanna LUCHT and husband Rudolf BONN/BOUN, born Yekaterinoslav 1877-78, went to Germany with children 1912-1914. AHSGR has photos.

Christian & Julia SCHWEIGERT fron Neu-Schwed went to Chicago.

Carl and/or Heinrich LIEDER born in Rosendamm 1877, confirmed in Boaro in 1894, may have gone from Neu-Schwed to Chicago, leaving son Alexander in Russia.

Maria Elisabeth RICHTER, nee SCHULTZ, came to America with husband Leopold HEINRICH.

Jacob, Peter, and Alexander EHRLICH left Grimm for Chicago 1913/1914 together with the sons of their older brother Friedrich, Friedrich and Jacob. Friedrich died in Chicago, and Jacob returned to Russia. Alexander had children Herlein (Karoline?) and Victor. AHSGR has obituary for Alexander EHRLICH, married to Elisabeth ALBRANDT, who died in Gering, NE. He was survived by brothers Peter and Jacob.

Heinrich LEHMANN from Schilling was in Russian Army, then a POW in Germany, and is said to have immigrated to America.

Jakob SALWASSER from Schilling served in Russian Army, became a POW. Did he come to U.S.A.? Sought by brother.

Alexander HOFMAN from Schilling was in the Russian Army, became a POW in 1941, and is said to have immigrated to America.

Timmi KRIEGER, daughter of Nikolaus KRIEGER and Helene FEGLER from Norka. Her stepmother was Helena FEUERSTEIN. Timmi came to America with grandparents, Johannes and Helen FEUERSTEIN. She married Konrad GLANTZ, also from Norka, and they had six or seven children. AHSGR has photo.

Margaret HOHNSTEIN, daughter of George, married Adam DERR. Both were from Norka and went to Portland, OR. They had two daughters, Margaret and Katherine. Katherine married Carl Fred PALMER, and they had four sons: Kenneth J., and triplets Rollo F., Richard A., and Robert L.

Gustav NEUMANN from Volhynia was the oldest child. He had siblings Edward, Albert, Marta, and Friedrich. AHSGR has photos.

Gerhard HARMS, son of Gerhard, born 22 July 1915 Waldeck, Don District. May have gone to Canada.

Katarina FRANK, daughter of Michael, married to a JACOBI, from Dönhof / Doenhof.

Conrad, George, and Peter GORR from Yagodnaya Polyana or Nieder-Monjou went to Canada with families after 1909.

Eva MELINGER, husband Heinrich REIFSCHNEIDER, and daughter Rosa were from Kutter. Heinrich was the son of Eduard Reifschneider. Eva was very heavy and supposedly was killled when she fell down the stairs. They may have lived in New York.

Edward, Friedrich (Fritz), and Heinrich MILAS lived in North Dakota. Maybe from Volhynia.

Kaspar WILHELM born 3 January 1893 in Krasnoyar.

Mr. BAUER and family went from Volga Region to Bazine, Kansas. He was a cousin of Eva Bauer JUNG left in Russia.

Rudolf FUNK or FROST born in Hochstadt, Molochna colony 4 October 1926 was separated from the family during the deportation in 1941. He eventually came to California. Sought by sister Rosa.

Melcher NIKOLAS and wife nee LEBHAHN from Elsass.

Wendelin WINGERTER and wife Luna GSCHMOK from Elsass.

Christian BASNER from Reinhardt. May have died in Saginaw, MI.

Julia JÄGER / JAEGER, divorced from Heinrich JÄGER / JAEGER. Possibly from Schwed.

Two daughters of Gottfried EIRICH from Weizenfeld: Dorothea, married Kasper MILLER, and Metinna married Jacob SIMON.

Johannes EISWIRTH, from Klosterdorf, South Russia, went to Canada. Did he die in Canada in 1970?

Theodore SCHÖNMEIER, born in Volga Region 1895, went to Chicago. AHSGR has photos.

Two ADOLF girls from Warenburg, Liese and Amalia. One married an OSTWALD, one a MEDER. Went to Chicago.

Joseph EBEL, son of Johann, had a sister Paulina who married a HAAG.

Jacob BRUCH from Bauer, son of Jacob and Barbara. His mother had also been married to a GEIER.

Konrad ROTÄRMEL / ROTHERMEL was from Saratov. He was a traveling preacher. His children were Klement, Elsa, Gustav, Konrad, Esther, and Johannes.

Dorothea SCHELLER, daughter of Gustav and Johanna. From Michalov, Vinnitsa District.

Heinrich and Maria GILLIG from Erlenbach. In 1920 they went from Canada to Erlenbach and wanted to adopt the young daughter of Alexander and Christina GILLIG. This request was refused.
