Requests From Abroad

August, Robert, and possibly Joseph HARTMANN, sons of Johannes. They were originally from Volhynia but may have emigrated from the Volga region.

Jacob REICHERT and his wife Maria Katharina nee ECKERT, moved from Huck to Lincoln, NE, with their two children Alexander and Emilia ( nee LUTHER). Where are their descendants?

Philipp HERZOG and his wife Amalie nee DEBUS were from Kukkus. Their three daughters were born in the USA: Frieda (married a COOK), Helen (married a SIREIT), Esther (married a LIMA). Last correspondence from Fresno 1957-58. AHSGR has photo.

Amal ie LENZ ( died 1960s) and her husband Friedrich NEUBAUER (died 1935) came to Greeley, CO, to his uncle BRETTHAUER. They had seven children, four sons: Friedrich, David, Rubin, and Samuel, and three daughters. Their uncle would like to get in touch with them.

"Hannjahr" (Johann Georg?) KONSTANZ, son of "Jahrflipp" (Georg Philip?) and Marie Katrine nee EISNER. "Hannjahr" was born in Dreispitz, "Jahrflipp" was born in Warenburg. Being sought by his youngest sister.

Helen LISSMAN, daughter of Johannes Lissman and Elisabetha STRAUCH, granddaughter of Konrad Strauch (from Beideck) and Katharine SCHAFER. The grandparents are buried in Lincoln, NE.

Jakob HEIMANN or HAYMANN, wife Albina nee KLEIN and children Lydia, Tamara, Irmgard, and Johann, were from Sinelnikova, Ukraine. They emigrated from Germany in the 1950s.

Edith PEITER, daughter of Vladimir, was born in Pulkino, Zhitomir area of Volhynia in 1927. May have emigrated during World War II. Being sought by brother.

"Darthel" SCHAMBERGER, daughter of Peter and Eleonore. Her husband's name might be STROFEL, or that could be his nickname. Their children were Jakob, Anna, Monika, Alvina, and Peter, born 1907. She was from Hildman or Dobrinka.

Friedrich ETMANN, son of Friedrich and Elisabeth, was born in Grimm in 1890. Emigrated as a single man.

Konrad WAGNER and his wife Elisabeth may have gone to Canada in 1930, where daughter Katrin was born. He may have been a Pastor. From Volga Region.

Christian BASSNER, son of Christian, born in Reinhard around 1893.

Julia ? was married for a short time to Heinrich JAEGER. From Volga Region, possibly from Schwed.

Andrei or Heinrich MOOR/MOHR, son of Johannes, from Volga Region, went to South America 1914. His siblings were Jakob, Alexander, Eduard, Johannes.

Samuel WILL died in Simpferopol in 1905. His widow Lydia? then went to Germany with children Matilda, Samuel, Jakob, Benjamin and Emilia. They eventually came to the U.S.

Gottlieb GELLERT, son of Friedrich, emigrated from Enders with the Simon DUBS family.

Eva-Katarina LENZ, daughter of Adolf, from Bauer, married Johannes KONRADI. AHSGR has photo.

Three children of Jakob ROSS from Norka: Christina, married name unknown, had nine to eleven children; Heinrich Peter, name of wife unknown, had nine to eleven children; Johannes was single when he first came to America. He was in the American Army shortly after immigrating.

HIRSCH. An American man about 76 years old, son of Anna Maria nee Hirsch, visited Frank in the Volga Region in 1997. He was looking for a Hirsch family. While in Frank he stayed with Katarina HOFF. His cousin now lives in Berlin and would like to contact him.

SPETTER, Johannes, son of George and Appolonia, went from Kamenka to Argentina about 1920.

Christian STUHLBERG, son of Christian and Anna, was born in Muhlhausen (Muhlhausendorf?), Kherson in 1889. Emigrated as a single man between 1906 and 1910.

Elisabeth FOOS and her children: Marik, Heinrich, Jakob, Emilia, Alexander emigrated from Dietel between 1912 and 1914. She left daughter Elisabeth in Russia. She remarried in America. Jakob returned to Russia after two years and was unable to return to America.

KORRELL In 1989 a woman sought out a Heinrich Korrell in Karaganda. (He was born in Moor in 1925. ) She had a letter from someone in America looking for Heinrich's family. May have been descendant of Friedrich Peter and Amalia Korrell.

Philip ZENT emigrated from Speier, Odessa District with second wife, her two daughters and his two sons. He left his oldest son, Johann, in Russia.

Descendants of Gottlieb AXT and his sister Emma. Emma nee Axt was married to Adam Axt, who had shoe repair shop in Fresno. The family was from Jost.

Alexander GORODEZKY / HORODEZKY or GORODEDESKY, son of Christina nee GLASSER emigrated from Odessa with his mother in 1928. They went to Canada. Christina, born in Neudorf, later marrried Ludwig GRAFF. According to her obituary, she died in Medicine Hat, Alberta, in 1946.

GORTE, oldest daughter of Heinrich, name and married name unknown, left following siblings in Reinwald: David, Johann, and Heinrich. Heinrich moved to Germany in 1915.

Reinhold BURGHARDT, from Neufreudental, came to America with his wife and seven of their nine children, two of whom were Reiner and Anna. They left two married daughters in Russia: Rosalia Burghardt ELLI and Barbara Burghardt STOLZ. Barbara Stolz received a letter in 1956 which was confiscated by the NKVD. AHSGR has photo.

Viktor FEDOROV from Vyalka Region (north of Samara ), emigrated from U.S.S.R. via Harbin, China, in 1930.

Karl FAHRNBRUCH and wife nee HILL. May have settled in McCook or Culbertson, NE. Oldest son Friedrich died in 1918 and left four siblings, possibly Jakob, Philip, Johannes and Christina.

Descendants of Jacob DORN and Katharina BRAUN from Blumenfeld near Rostov. Jacob died in Scottsbluff, NE, in 1951. Survived by daughters Annie Schlager in Casper , WY; Lydia Dalberg in Mitchell, NE; and Dorothy Dappep in Scottsbluff, NE. Katharine Braun Dom's brother Adam had married a HILL.

Anna Maria nee FAHRENBRUCH married Conrad FAHRENBRUCH. From Frank. According to Conrad's obituary, she was his second wife, and they were married in America in 1913. In 1951 they moved from McCook, NE, to Loveland, CO. He was survived by five children: Frieda (Mrs. Lewis SMITH), Corrine (Mrs. Robert McKILLIP), Harry Fahrenbruch, Raymond Fahrenbruch, and Jerry Fahrenbruch. Where are children and grandchildren now?
