Northern Colorado Chapter Obituary projectWindsor, Colorado The 23,767 obituary cards compiled over the past twenty years by Esther Krause were scanned into a database by the members of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia. Esther, a Windsor, Colorado resident gathered all the published obituaries from 1965-1999 in the Windsor, Greeley area and typed them on 3X5 cards. They are currently located in the Windsor / Severence Library. As soon they are keyworded by the AHSGR volunteers using the Saving our Ancestral Records (SOAR) program the obits will all be available on the library computer for anyone interested in researching their family history. ![]() Esther Krause watching her 3X5 cards be scanned into the computer. ![]()
