Our Chapter's Purpose

The purpose of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia is to bring together people interested in the history of Germans from Russia. Through a better understanding of Germans from Russia, we will promote a better appreciation of their history and the preservation of their culture through their descendants.

Southwestern Michigan Chapters Meetings

We meet the 3rd Friday of March, April, May, September & October. Summer picnic meetings and A Christmas meeting, To be announced.

Refreshments are served and a free will donation is asked.

There are planned programs at each meeting and announced in the newsletter, and local papers.

We meet at the Maude Palenske Library in St. Joseph, MI at 7:00pm.

Doors open at 6:30pm for greetings and an opportunity to look at books, maps etc., in our collection.
