The chapter was formed on July 6, 2002 in order to reach out to those Germans from Russia who live in Iowa. Our quarterly meetings are held the last Sunday of January, April, July and October. Our goal is to have members from all over the state. We gather at various locations and select the next host city at each meeting. A newsletter is sent out quarterly to give the place and directions for the next meeting, plus other events of our organization. The membership dues are $5.00 per year.
